3 More School
Districts Appoint RYEBREAD Architects
Mount Holly, NJ, 25 August 2008 – With the new academic year starting,
Mount Holly’s RYEBREAD Architects will be working for three additional
South Jersey school districts. The Hainesport, Harrison Township, and
Mount Holly Boards of Education have all appointed this service-oriented
firm as their Architects-of-Record for the upcoming year.
“This further establishes RYEBREAD as the premier public-sector
architects in Burlington County,” according to Medford Superintendent
Dr. Joseph Del Rossi. “They provide great long-term value to their
Clients.” RYEBREAD has served the Medford Board of Education since 1989.
Over the last two decades, they have been responsible for over $100
million in capital improvements in the District, including two new
schools, a transportation center, several additions, and renovations at
all five original educational facilities.
According to Southampton Superintendent Michael Harris, this firm “takes
the time to understand the economics and culture of each school
district, and thus better serves the individual needs of each Client.”
RYEBREAD has been Architect-of-Record for the Southampton BoE since
1994, with a new school, two referenda, and numerous facility upgrades
to their credit.
The name “RYEBREAD” is an acronym for Regan Young England Butera;
Referendums, Engineering, Architecture, Design. Their specialty is
providing professional services for renovations and expansions to
building envelopes, systems, and interiors for public- and
private-sector entities around Burlington County, and beyond.
To better serve their Clients, RYEBREAD now also provides services for
security & alternative environmental control systems, as well as Smart
Growth planning. RYEBREAD principal Scott Charles England is recognized
for his knowledge of CPTED (Crime Prevention Through Environmental
Design), a “passive” method of reducing crime and the fear of crime.
Principal Angelo P. Butera concentrates on sustainable architecture, and
was recently responsible for the new “green” library at Fort Dix
Elementary School in Pemberton. All three principals are not just
architects, but also NJ-licensed planners and interior designers. This
equips them to oversee projects from the concept phase through to final
fit-out.
In addition to the Hainesport, Harrison, Medford, Mount Holly,
Pemberton, and Southampton Districts, RYEBREAD has been reappointed at
Eastampton, Edgewater Park, New Hanover, Oaklyn, and Tabernacle. Their
public-sector projects include not only schools, but also municipal
buildings, libraries, police stations, public works buildings, and
restorations of historic assets.
