Project Description:

 

The project consists of, but is not limited to, sitework, abatement, metal stud and drywall, doors, frames and hardware, finishes, canopy, plumbing, HVAC, and electrical work.

 

 

The Work shall include, but not be limited to:

Folwell:   Tree removal, abatement of VAT and piping insulation, installation of an exterior panel sign, doors, frames & hardware, VCT, painting, drinking fountains, replacement of a walk-in freezer, and lighting.

Holbein:  Alteration to an office suite, installation of concrete ramp, canopy, doors, frames & hardware, acoustical panel ceilings, painting, drinking fountains, replacement of unit ventilators w/ a rooftop unit, lighting, associated fire alarm work.

Brainerd: Hardware replacement.

Prime Bidder shall note that long-lead shop drawings are required to be initiated immediately after the Notice to Proceed is issued so that those items can be ordered as soon as possible.  Construction shall begin on or about 28 June 2021and shall be substantially completed on or before 27 August 2021.

Documents Information:

Bid Forms, Instructions to Bidders, Specifications and other bid documents may be made available and examined by Bidders from the office of REGAN YOUNG ENGLAND BUTERA, PC; 456 High Street, Mt. Holly, New Jersey 08060 during regular business hours, (beginning on 29 March 2021).  Additional information, including a list of (registered) Prime Bidders, can be obtained from the Architect’s web site (www.RYEBREAD.com).  Subcontractors and vendors may obtain copies from registered Prime Bidders.  There is a $25.00 non-refundable fee for the bidding documents, payable by check, credit card, or cash.  Checks shall be made payable to Regan Young England Butera.  An electronic copy of the specifications and drawings shall be made available to Prime Bidders; hard copies of the bidding documents shall not be provided.  Access to the electronic documents shall be emailed to the Prime Bidder upon receipt of their payment and all of the following information:

Email address for whom bid documents are to be sent.

Registered Bidders must submit substitution requests or any questions concerning the project to the Architect on Form 006001 BIDDER REQUEST FOR INFORMATION included in the Project Manual no later than 1:00 PM Tuesday, 20 April 2021  The Architect will not respond to questions received by those other than Prime Bidders.

Bidder Requirement:

Prime Bidders must be pre-qualified by the New Jersey Department of the Treasury, Department of Property and Management Construction, prior to the date that bids are received.  Any bids submitted under the terms of New Jersey Statutes not including a copy of a valid and active Pre-qualified/Classification Certificate and New Jersey Department of Labor Contractor Registration Certificate may be rejected as being non-responsive to bid requirements.
