Project Description:

The Project consists of the auditorium renovation at the F.W. Holbein School, 333 Levis Drive, Mount Holly, New Jersey 08060.  The work includes, but is not limited to, selective demolition, asbestos abatement, fixed audience seating, floor finishes, selected doors removal and replacement, theatrical lighting, A/V system, acoustical panels ceilings, sound absorbing wall units, and maintenance re-painting.

Approx. Project Duration:

Construction shall begin on or about 17 June 2024 and shall be substantially completed on or before 26 August 2024.

Documents Information:

Bid Forms, Instructions to Bidders, Specifications and other bid documents will be made available and may be examined by Bidders from the office of REGAN YOUNG ENGLAND BUTERA, PC; 456 High Street, Mt. Holly, New Jersey 08060 during regular business hours.  Additional information, including a list of (registered) Bidders, can be obtained from the Architect’s web site (www.RYEBREAD.com). There is a $25.00 non-refundable fee for the bidding documents, payable by check, credit card, or cash.  Checks shall be made payable to Regan Young England Butera.  An electronic copy of the specifications and drawings will be made available to Bidders; hard copies of the bidding documents will not be provided.  Access to the electronic documents will be emailed to the Bidder upon receipt of their payment and all of the following information:

Business name.

Inquiry Deadline:

Registered Bidders must submit substitution requests or any questions concerning the project to Regan Young England Butera on Section 006001 BIDDER REQUEST FOR INFORMATION included in the Project Manual no later than 1:00 PM on 01 November 2023.  The Architect will not respond to questions received by those other than Prime Bidders.

Bidder Requirement:

Prime Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of the State of New Jersey Public School Contract Law, N.J.S.A. Title 18A:18A.  The withdrawal or modification to a Bid after the bid opening is not permitted.  All bid security, except for the security of the three apparent lowest responsible Prime Bidders shall, if requested, be returned after ten days from the opening of the bids, Saturdays, Sundays and holidays excepted, and the bids of such Prime Bidders shall be considered as withdrawn.  The Mount Holly Township Board of Education will return the remaining bidders security in accordance with N.J.S.A. 18A:18A-36(a).

The MOUNT HOLLY TOWNSHIP BOARD OF EDUCATION has the right to award the contracts within sixty (60) days of the bid opening and reserves the right to reject all bids in accordance with N.J.S.A. 18A:18A-22 and to waive minor informalities or non-material exceptions, as may be permitted by law.

 

Bidders are advised that the Mount Holly Township Board of Education reserves the right to cancel this Project at any time due to any unforeseen circumstances that arise in connection with any Public Health Emergency and funding related to same.  By submitting a bid, Prime Bidders waive, on behalf of themselves and their Subcontractors, any potential claim for increased costs, loss of profits, delay damages, or other similar consequential and direct damages incurred due to the Mount Holly Township Board of Education termination of the Project.
