Southampton BOE Annex and School #1 IMC Alterations
The project consists of the partial demolition and adaptive use construction of the Annex, and the alteration of School #1 Instructional Media Center. The Work includes, but is not limited to, building envelope roof and structure, windows, doors and interior partitions, flooring, ceilings, new wall partitions, and supporting mechanical, plumbing and electrical work.
Bidders shall note that long-lead shop drawings are required to be initiated immediately after the issuance of the Section 007100 Notice to Proceed so that those items can be ordered as soon as possible. Construction shall begin on or about 6 January 2026 and shall be substantially completed on or before 14 August 2026
Bid Forms, Instructions to Bidders, Specifications and other bid documents will be made available and may be examined by Bidders from the office of REGAN YOUNG ENGLAND BUTERA, PC; 456 High Street, Mt. Holly, New Jersey 08060 during regular business hours. Additional information, including a list of (registered) Bidders, can be obtained from the Architect’s web site (www.RYEBREAD.com). There is a $25.00 non-refundable fee for the bidding documents, payable by credit card, check, or cash. An electronic copy of the specifications and drawings will be made available to Bidders; hard copies of the bidding documents will not be provided. Bidders who have received the bidding documents any questions concerning the project to Regan Young England Butera on Section 006001 BIDDER REQUEST FOR INFORMATION included in the Project Manual no later than 1:00 PM on 24 November 2025. The Architect will not respond to questions received by those other than Prime Bidders.
Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of the State of New Jersey Public School Contract Law, N.J.S.A. 18A:18A. The withdrawal or modification to a Bid after the bid opening is not permitted. All bid security, except for the security of the three apparent lowest responsible Bidders shall, if requested, be returned after ten days from the opening of the bids, , Sundays, and holidays excepted, and the bids of such Bidders shall be considered as withdrawn. The Southampton Township Board of Education will return the remaining Bidders security in accordance with N.J.S.A. 18A:18A-36(a).
Bidders must be pre-qualified by the New Jersey Department of the Treasury, Department of Property and Management Construction, prior to the date that bids are received. Any bids submitted under the terms of the Public Schools Contract Law, N.J.S.A. 18A:18A-1 et seq., not including a copy of a valid and active Pre-qualified/Classification Certificate and New Jersey Department of Labor and Workforce Development Public Works Contractor Registration Certificate may be rejected as being non-responsive to bid requirements.
